CAPI GROUP srl. is new machining company founded by the alliance of two consolidated and existing companies in the precision mechanical engineering market: Meccanica Cainelli of Volano (Trento) www.cainelli.com specialized in machining cast iron and aluminium components and supplying pre-assembled sub-groups and O.M.P. Piccinelli of Darzo di Storo (Trento) www.omp-piccinelli.it specialized in machining steel components on lathes, CN grinding machines, and vertical and horizontal machining centres. CAPI GROUP srl. is a company specialized in the production of epicycloidal ring gears. CAPI's machining processes include all the phases of the production flow for ring gears: turning, drilling, broaching, slotting and treatments as induction hard tempering, nitriding and carburizing. As far as technology is concerned, CAPI is capable of performing every phase of the productive process of epicycloidal ring gears and other pieces with internal hobbing in order to offer the customer maximum flexibility and cost rationalization. Besides the production of turned, broached and hobbed pieces, CAPI can supply assembled groups and is able to perform all the thermal treatments needed to extend the duration of the pieces in complete autonomy.
